2014-12 Callout Amesbury

25th March 2014. Called at 1955 hours to assist Wiltshire Police with the search for a missing 91-year old male in the Amesbury area. WILSAR were en route when the male was located and the team was stood-down at 2015 hours.

2014-11 Callout Salisbury Continued

Saturday 22nd March 2014. Called at 1230 hours to assist Wiltshire Police with the continued search for a missing 59-year old male in the Salisbury area. Assisted by Dorset Search and Rescue (DORSAR), Dorset Search Dogs, and Hampshire Search and Rescue (HANTSAR). Male located and team stood down at 1615 hours.

2014-10 Callout Swindon

Saturday 22nd March 2014. Called at 0700 hours to assist Wiltshire Police with the search for a despondent 19-year old male in the Swindon area. Assisted by Berkshire Lowland Search and Rescue (BLSAR). Male located and team stood down at 1145 hours.

2014-09 Callout Salisbury Continued

Thursday 20th March 2014. Called at 1615 hours to assist Wiltshire Police with the continued search for a despondent 59-year old male in the Salisbury area. Assisted by Dorset Search Dogs. Team stood down at 2345 hours.

2014-08 Callout Assist Oxfordshire Wallingford

Thursday 20th March 2014. Called at 1150 hours to assist Oxfordshire Search and Rescue (OXSAR) with the search for a 33-year old despondent male in the Wallingford area.

2014-07 Callout Salisbury

Wednesday 19th March 2014. Called at 0820 hours to assist Wiltshire Police with the search for a 59-year old despondent male in the Salisbury area. Assisted by other lowland search and rescue teams from Dorset (DORSAR), Hampshire (HANTSAR) and Oxfordshire (OXSAR) along with police officers and Wiltshire Police Air Operations Unit. WILSAR stood down at 2330 hours whilst the police made further enquiries.

2014-06 Callout Assist Oxfordshire Oxford

Saturday 15th March 2014. Called at 1006 hours to assist Oxfordshire Search and Rescue (OXSAR) in searching for a despondent 55-year old female in the Oxford area. Female located by OXSAR. Several members of WILSAR attended. Team stood down at 1345 hours.

 

2014-05 Callout Easterton

Thursday 13th March 2014. Called at 2000 hours by Wiltshire Police to assist with the search for a despondent male in the Easterton area, near Market Lavington. Male located safe and well by police before the team were deployed.
