Control Unit
Our custom built Renault master control unit provides communications and search management facilities. Self contained with it’s own power supply can operate in any location and carries support equipment for the team.
Trailer
Our support trailer carries 4 bikes , 2 kayaks and water PPE equipment.
Bikes
These Montague folding bikes are used worldwide by the emergency services and are fitted with high power lights and equipment panniers. The team has 4 bikes allowing a team of 3 to be deployed with one spare bike available if required.
Kayaks
Three kayaks are available for use by specifically trained members for searching water course areas and canals.
- WILSAR is a non-profit making organisation. We do not get funding from the government or local authority so we rely on our own fundraising, along with donations.
