Wiltshire Search and Rescue is a registered charity.

We receive no statutory funding; relying solely on our fundraising efforts and the generosity of the communities that we support. We make no charges for our services to the public nor the police, fire or ambulance services. We have no paid employees, and all our members are volunteers who give up their time to support fundraising alongside their operational commitments.

We are incredibly grateful for the support we receive from individuals, groups and businesses across the county, as without this we could not continue to operate.

The basic day-to-day running costs essentials such as fuel and insurance is approximately £36,000 per annum. Once additional costs such as training, new equipment and one-off purchases such as new vehicles are included, this rises to approximately £100,000.

We consider all invitations for talks to organisations and community groups, please get in contact via email to our Fundraising Officer. There are a few ways that you can support us shown below, but new ideas and event opportunities are always welcome
